Job summary

ByteDance is seeking students to help build and enhance its global infrastructure digital platform and backend systems for procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, and cost control. You will participate in full-cycle development, from requirement analysis to unit testing, and respond quickly to production emergencies.

The role emphasizes strong programming foundations, proficiency in Java/Go/C/C++, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Solid programming foundations in data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in one or more languages such as Java, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience with MySQL and Redis optimization is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and network protocols (TCP/UDP, HTTP).
• Strong learning agility and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build ByteDance's global infrastructure digital platform and backend systems for procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, IDC operations, and cost management.
• Execute full cycle development including requirement analysis, design, feasibility studies, coding, and unit testing.
• Respond promptly to and resolve critical live issues or production emergencies.
