Job summary

ByteDance is seeking students to help build and enhance its global infrastructure digital platform and backend systems for procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, and cost control. You will participate in full-cycle development, from requirement analysis to unit testing, and respond quickly to production emergencies.

The role emphasizes strong programming foundations, proficiency in Java/Go/C/C++, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Solid programming foundations in data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in one or more languages such as Java, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience with MySQL and Redis optimization is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and network protocols (TCP/UDP, HTTP).

Your Role

• Execute full cycle development including requirement analysis, solution design, technical feasibility studies, code implementation, and unit testing.
• Respond promptly to and resolve critical live issues or production emergencies.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Passionate about programming with solid coding skills and a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, C/C++.
• Preferred experience with MySQL and Redis optimization, solid knowledge of Linux systems, TCP/UDP, HTTP protocols.
• Initiative to understand source code implementations of mainstream frameworks is preferred.
• Exceptional learning agility, strong sense of responsibility, and proactive mindset.
