Job summary

ByteDance seeks an undergraduate or master's student to join its backend development team in San Jose, CA. You will help build and optimize the global infrastructure digital platform and backend systems for procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, IDC operations, and cost management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms with solid coding skills.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, C/C++.
• Experience with MySQL and Redis optimization; solid knowledge of Linux systems, TCP/UDP, HTTP protocols.
• Initiative to understand source code implementations of mainstream frameworks is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
