Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, focused on data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with data streaming and tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with containerization and tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design new integrations, services, and solutions for scaling Beacon's data platform.
• Implement features with attention to data integrity and design soundness.
• Draft RFCs to lead complex feature discovery and technical design phases.
• Leverage feedback to improve operational robustness and ease of use.
