Job summary

Resilience Care, a French company delivering remote medical monitoring solutions, seeks a Backend & Applied AI Engineer to build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python. You will optimize performance, improve architecture, and ensure production reliability while collaborating with AI and frontend teams across an international, remote-friendly setup.

You will contribute to AI-enabled features and focus on scalable, robust systems with a strong emphasis on code quality and observability.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in Python.
• Ability to design and evolve APIs to support product needs.
• Experience with databases and data-processing workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding latency, throughput, concurrency and resource consumption challenges.
• Ability to integrate AI model or LLM API into a product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver product changes end-to-end.
• Measure and improve processing time, scalability and backend architecture.
• Strengthen testing, CI/CD, observability and production reliability.
• Coordinate with Applied AI Engineer on backend integration of AI features.
