Job summary

OmniSource LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, is seeking a Back-up Production Supervisor to assign tasks, motivate staff, and uphold safety standards across shifts.

You will direct daily operations, monitor quality and throughput, manage housekeeping, and provide professional customer support while complying with Omni safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to direct personnel in a high stress environment and have the ability to make quick decisions.
• Experience with operating and troubleshooting equipment a plus.
• Willingness to work additional hours a plus.

• Ability to work outdoors, and climb numerous flights of stairs numerous times.
• Ability to work in areas over 45’, lift and carry objects over 50lbs approximately 100’.
