Job summary

The Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, AZ is hiring a part-time back server to support front servers and ensure attentive service. You will handle nightly setup, reset tables, and deliver meals quickly and professionally following service standards.

Requirements include 1–3 months related experience, high school or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check; Alcohol Awareness Training is preferred. Must be 18+ and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and support front servers to ensure smooth service.
• Setup and reset tables according to seating plan for nightly service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally to guests.
• Handle checks and cash transactions using the POS system.
• Follow standards for taking and delivering orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform side work.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and maintain safe work practices.
