Job summary

The Dewberry in Charleston, SC is seeking a Back Server to support the Food & Beverage team and elevate the guest experience. This role links guests to their server and contributes to front-of-house service to uphold the hotel's standards.

Responsibilities include assisting servers and bartenders, delivering food, cleaning and resetting tables, and maintaining safe, sanitary service stations. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, able to work nights and weekends, with a positive attitude

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist servers with setup, service, and cleanup tasks.
• Assist bartenders and servers with espresso/coffee drinks.
• Deliver food trays from kitchen to tables.
• Pull liquor from storage and assist with bar service.
• Polish glassware and silverware for service.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary stations and dining areas.
• Attend pre-service training and stay knowledgeable about menu items.
• Reset tables and assist with guest flow during service.
