Selland Family Restaurants in Sacramento invites applications for a Busser/Back Server at Ella Dining Room and Bar. You will support servers and bartenders, deliver food, refill water, clean and stock areas, and help with bar prep to ensure smooth service.

We offer a competitive $16.90 per hour (not including tips) with daily tip pool participation, free meals on shift, and a broad benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of serving, bussing or back server experience.
• Ability to take direction and help service staff, bartenders and managers serve guests.
• Must be available nights and varied days as business dictates.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid RBS card.
• Ability to multi task and move quickly.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and bartenders with bar prep, delivering food, refilling water and cleaning.
• Stock glassware and supplies, re-stocking ice and maintaining a tidy service area.
• Support guests with gracious, hospitable service throughout shift.

Position Summary: The Busser/Back Server will need to have excellent social skills, be highly motivated and feel comfortable working in a demanding position. Employee will be required to multi-task while assisting servers and bartenders with bar preparation (before, during and after shift), delivering food, refilling water, cleaning, stocking product, re-stocking ice, cleaning/re-stocking glassware, and changing kegs. Candidates also should have sufficient experience and food/wine/liquor knowledge to hit the ground running. Busser/Back Servers interact with guests, servers and bartenders in a positive manner by assisting them promptly, and approaching them in a hospitable, friendly way.
