Job summary

The Kitchen at Selland Hospitality Group in Sacramento seeks a polished Dining Room Server to lead with hospitality on a premier culinary stage. You will maintain graceful table service, guide guests through beverage selections, and uphold the group’s standards of excellence.

Two years of high-end service experience and knowledge of food and wine are preferred; CMS or WSET Level 1+ is a plus. Availability Wed–Sun evenings and a valid RBS card are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-end service in a Fine Dining environment is highly preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge of food, wine, and spirits; CMS Certified or WSET Level 1+ is a major plus.
• Availability Wednesday through Sunday evenings is required.
• Valid RBS Card, reliable transportation, and age 18+.

Responsibilities

• Maintain seamless table service and guest experience.
• Use beverage knowledge to guide the guest journey from first pour to final crumb.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver Hospitality, Excellence, Teamwork, and Pride.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

You are articulate, polished, and possess a "team-first" mentality. You understand that fine dining is a choreography of many moving parts. You strive for excellence and take feedback as a growth opportunity.

• Experience: 2+ years of high-end service (Server, Captain, or Sommelier) in a Fine Dining environment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of food, wine, and spirits. CMS Certified or WSET Level 1+ is a major plus!
• Availability: Must be available Wednesday through Sunday evenings. (We create magic when the sun goes down!)
• Credentials: Valid RBS Card, reliable transportation, and aged 18+.
• Mindset: A positive, attentive, and hospitable spirit with an insatiable willingness to learn.
