Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Back Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial disposal processes. You will work with heavy equipment in a complex facility, following strict safety and procedure standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a rotating shift. Eligible benefits include medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans, along with a 401(k), paid parental leave, PTO, and paid holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must have experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
• Consistently work in various weather conditions
