Job summary

DATAMARK is seeking a Back Office Supervisor to oversee customs processing and ensure accurate, compliant documentation aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards. The role involves leading a team of customs clerks, reviewing outputs, and coordinating daily workflows to meet productivity goals.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred), at least 2 years in customs and 1 year in supervision, and strong leadership, communication, and

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of Customs experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of customs procedures and principles.
• Demonstrated analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to coach and mentor customs clerk associates.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of assigned customs associates and ensures they comply with client requirements through documented procedures, work instructions, and business rules.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned associates.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Promptly requests approval from management for necessary staffing adjustments to meet daily productivity goals.
• Reviews work outputs by associates.
• Collects data and prepares reports on customer complaints and inquiries.
• Prepares monthly reports summarizing the assigned back office team's performance.
• Identifies opportunities to update or improve back office procedures and makes recommendations to the Back Office Manager or other appropriate staff.
