Job summary

Accelerated Urgent Care in California is seeking a Part-time Medical Assistant (Back Office). You will take vitals, document procedures, assist providers during exams, and help manage patient flow in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include coordinating labs and imaging, updating chart notes, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting front office with patient check-in and follow-ups. Minimum 1 year of experience and a Medical Assistant diploma required.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or training in a medical setting.
• Proficient with multi-line phones and electronic recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals and record them accurately.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures and chaperone as needed.
• Document interactions and ensure timely follow-ups per clinical process.
• Coordinate labs and imaging orders and ensure proper coding.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and organize exam rooms.
