Job summary

Accelerated Urgent Care in California seeks a Cross-Trained Medical Assistant / Receptionist to provide both Front Office and Back Office support. You will schedule appointments, register patients, answer phones, verify information, collect payments, and assist providers with patient care.

Flexibility to float between clinic locations within the region is required. The role requires a Medical Assistant Diploma, at least one year of related experience, and proficiency with EMR and practice

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant experience in a medical office or similar role.
• Certificate or diploma as Medical Assistant preferred and required by the job.
• Strong in-person and phone-based communication with patients and staff.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and register patients in scheduling tool.
• Answer phones, verify patient information, and collect payments.
• Assist providers with patient care and perform clinical duties as needed.
• Document in EMR and maintain accurate patient records.
• Travel between clinic locations within the assigned region as required.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization; support daily operations.
• collaborate with front office and back office staff to ensure patient experience.
