Job summary

Chick-fil-A in San Diego is looking for a Back of House Team Member. You will prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, while supporting all kitchen stations and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.

You’ll work with independent Owner/Operators, enjoy a flexible schedule (closed on Sundays) and learn from experienced leaders. The role offers growth opportunities and a chance to contribute to a positive, people-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently according to Chick-fil-A standards
• Know and assist with all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, prep)
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep kitchen clean and organized at all times
• Stay up-to-date with new products and changes
• Operate safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues
• Complete opening or closing tasks and adhere to dress code and rules
• Other duties as assigned

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
