Chick-fil-A Vine City is seeking a Back of House Shift Supervisor to lead team members, ensure fast and accurate service, and uphold food safety standards. This full-time role requires open availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will work with a motivated Owner/Operator, enjoy a nurturing environment, and access scholarship, tuition discounts, and opportunities for advancement and travel within the Chick-fil-A network.

The Back of House Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading team members to help provide fast and accurate service to guests, while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

This role is offered as a full-time position. You must have an open availability. This means the ability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Availability for Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays is required.

Applicants must be able to:

• Successfully run shifts to ensure fast, accurate food is served to standard

• Independently write reports and other documents
• Adhere to and enforce food safety and quality standards
• Assist with ensuring low food and labor costs
• Ensure waste and shared table donations are recorded
• Assist with managing inventory
• Identify and address operational bottlenecks
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a major in business, hospitality, food science, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years leadership or management experience
• Experience in restaurant operations is preferred, but not required. Prior Chick-fil-A experience is a plus.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Possess a love for serving and helping others
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Critical Thinker. Self Starter
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Be able to work a flexible schedule
• Have the ability to stand and walk for at least 8 hours
• Be able to perform functions which require bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 40 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportations to meet opening and closing shifts as needed
• Available to work at least 40 hours a week
• Be available to work on weekends and holidays
