Job summary

Roots Natural Kitchen is seeking a Back of House Manager to lead our kitchen crew, ensure fast, quality food, and maintain a clean, stocked BOH area. You will train, coach, and develop team members while upholding safety standards and menu execution across shifts.

You will collaborate with the Leadership Team to foster a positive, high-energy environment, manage operations, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-growing concept known for great food and a fun culture.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management experience preferred.
• Empathy for fellow crew members and customers.
• Friendliness and enthusiasm brought to each day.
• Ability to lead by example with humility and resilience.
• Strong personal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work varied schedules including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Roots culture and vision to your crew to deliver a special experience daily.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team to make Roots an awesome place to be every day.
• Coach and develop the crew to reach their best and learn leadership skills.
• Provide hands-on training and support throughout the training process.
• Lead shifts to ensure great experiences and excellent food.
• Maintain strict food safety practices and standards at all times.
• Master BOH roles (prep and dish).
• Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude during all scheduled shifts.
