Job summary

Carolina's Mexican Food, Inc. is seeking a Back of House Team Member to support our kitchen operations. You will help with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, dish-out line and dishwashing, contributing to smooth daily service.

Experience in kitchen operations preferred; we provide training and a flexible schedule. Compensation ranges from $14.70 to $18.00 per hour, along with benefits including 401(k) with matching, dental and health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Training will be provided for specific duties.
• Bilingual preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant food handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist with preparing tortillas and ingredients for cooking, washing, cutting, and marinating.
• Cooking: Participate in cooking and assembling dishes following recipes and kitchen directives.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, adhering to health and sanitation guidelines.
• Equipment Handling: Use and maintain kitchen equipment, report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Support Duties: Help with various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
