Kalispel Tribe of Indians in Cusick, WA is seeking a cook/kitchen worker responsible for the preparation, production, and display of all foods in an assigned area during the shift. Follow recipes, ensure food safety, and maintain quality in a high-volume setting.

Must be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays and capable of lifting heavy objects. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate with the Chef and staff, while meeting internal controls and safety policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with high-volume cooking is helpful.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Tribal Work Permit.
• Washington State Food Handler Permit within 14 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, produce, and/or display all foods in an assigned area; ensure standards of quality during shift.
• Follow all recipes and procedures including measuring, mixing, carving, cutting, washing and other techniques.
• Display food to specifications set by the Chef and ensure food safety guidelines are followed.
• Perform quality control checks before and after production to ensure health standards.
• Maintain attendance and be flexible for scheduling changes as needed.
