The Press Club Grill in Tampa, FL is seeking aBack of House Team Member to support our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook dishes, ensure sanitation, and help maintain an efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes meet sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Monitor and manage food inventory to minimize waste and maximize freshness.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.
• Complete all tasks in order on the prep list from the Head Chef or kitchen manager.
• Label and stock all ingredients on easily accessible shelves.
• Wash, chop, and sort ingredients like fruits, vegetables and meats.
• Measure quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients.
• Parboil food, reduce sauces, and start first steps in various dishes.
• Clean dishes, wash utensils and cookware, take out the trash and sanitize kitchen.
• Adhere to all nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards.
• Keep track of ingredient inventory and order resupply with management.
