Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Bradley, IL is hiring a Back End Maintainer to support production. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on reading instructions, data entry, and machine adjustments to meet quality specs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school education and 2–3 years of experience with computer-enabled inspection in a high-speed manufacturing setting, with flexibility for shifts, overtime, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED.
• 2-3 year(s) experience with computer skills in inspecting, testing, packaging and high speed manufacturing environment.
• Able to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• OSHA related training in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Beverage Packaging Quality industry experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of AS400, QAS, and NWA is advantageous.
• 6S Training and adherence to 6S principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Read and write process form instructions and data in reports.
• Possess basic computer operations and navigate screens.
• Adjust machines to maintain quality according to customer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervision (written and verbal).
• Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques.
• Maintain orderly work area following 6S, SOPs and JHA.
