Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Bradley, IL, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure product quality through inspections, testing, and record keeping in a fast-paced beverage can manufacturing environment.

You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and Production Supervisor, work multiple shifts as needed, and contribute to 6S, SOP compliance, and data entry to document quality metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED.
• 2-3 year(s) experience with computer skills in inspecting, testing, packaging and high speed manufacturing environment. Basic Computer skills required.
• Must be available to work various shifts if needed and be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime to cover absences or provide additional support.
• Beverage Packaging Quality industry experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of AS400, QAS, and NWA (preferred).
• 6S Training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow verbal instructions to completion of assigned tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections and testing to ensure product quality are met.
• Maintain gauging equipment and documentation of production standards.
• Identify quality problems and dispositions.
• Record and communicate information between shifts and management.
