Truth AI is on a mission to empower small businesses with cutting-edge AI solutions. We're currently seeking a talented Back-End Developer for a short-term contract to accelerate the development of our cloud infrastructure and backend services.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable and reliable systems using AWS CDK, TypeScript, and serverless technologies. You’ll play a key role in developing infrastructure-as-code, backend services, and CI/CD pipelines as we build out the next generation of AI tools for small businesses.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Define and provision infrastructure using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) in TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate secure CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and AI researchers to enable seamless system integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests following best practices.
• Continuously use AI tools to speed up solutions and solve simple task, specifically Amazon Q, Copilot , OpenAI Codex

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Proficiency with TypeScript and experience with AWS CDK is a must.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with serverless frameworks or infrastructure as code beyond CDK.
• Exposure to AI/ML or data processing pipelines is a plus.

Compensation
