Job summary

Bilt in New York City is seeking Backend Engineers from mid-level through Staff to join its engineering team.

They are pivoting their backend stack from Java to Go as part of a wider replatforming, offering a real chance to influence the design and build of the new backend.

The role is based at the Meatpacking District with five days onsite. Base salary ranges from $170k to $300k, plus equity and performance bonus.

I’m working with a fast-growing fintech hiring Backend Engineers from mid-level through Staff to join their NYC engineering team.

The interesting part?

They’re pivoting their backend stack from Java to Go as part of a wider replatform, so they’re looking for experienced Go engineers who can help shape the transition, architecture and systems being built.

This isn’t a case of joining an established Go platform and maintaining what’s already there. You’ll have a genuine opportunity to influence how the new backend is designed and built.
