Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks clinicians to provide direct care in clinical support services in Brockton. Responsibilities include assessments, individual counseling, daily groups, discharge planning, and bio-psychosocial documentation.

You will maintain patient records with accuracy and participate in treatment teams while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field, with experience in substance use

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health or related field.
  • Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position.
  • Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations.
  • Participate in Treatment Team Meetings
  • Maintain assigned caseload; Providing direct care to patients – including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Responsible for each assigned patient’s medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner
  • Provide direct care to the patients. This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patient’s, discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned
  • Responsible for linking patient’s with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate
  • Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director
  • Attend mandatory trainings
  • Responsible for continued education in the field of substance abuse and related courses
  • Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed
  • Utilize walkie-talkie as campus responder
  • Utilize standards precautions at all times
  • Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient’s rights
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director, the Clinical Director, and/or the Senior Clinician

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to patients including assessments of new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, and treatment plans.
  • Deliver daily groups, document progress notes, and maintain accurate bio-psychosocial assessments.
  • Assist in discharge planning and aftercare linkage to community services.
  • Support treatment team meetings and ensure confidentiality and ethics compliance.
  • Maintain patient medical records thoroughly and promptly.

Pay Range: $28.20/hr - $32.30/hr (Experience and Education dependent)
