Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Teaneck is seeking dedicated babysitters to provide in-home care for children with a focus on safety, engagement, and positive development. You will supervise and assist with daily activities, meals, hygiene, and play, while maintaining a clean, organized home environment.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma, one year of experience, a valid driver's license, and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children in the family's home

• Provide attentive and responsible care for children in the family's home.
• Supervise children at all times and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Assist children with daily activities, including meals, snacks, dressing, hygiene, and other age-appropriate needs.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for children as instructed by the family.
• Engage children in age-appropriate games, activities, crafts, reading, and playtime.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning up after the children, organizing toys, and keeping children's areas tidy.
• Follow the parents' instructions regarding routines, schedules, and household rules.
• Provide companionship and encourage positive social and emotional development through conversation and interactive activities.
• Communicate with parents regarding the children's daily activities, behavior, needs, and any concerns that may arise.
