Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare Franchising, LLC is seeking on-call babysitters to provide in-home childcare for a variety of families in the greater Austin area. Positions involve last-minute, weekend coverage, and short shifts typically 4–6 hours.

You will be matched with nearby clients and maintain reliable, punctual service. Ideal candidates have babysitting or related childcare experience, and may hold first aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience as a babysitter, nanny, teacher, daycare worker, or camp counselor.
• Certification in first aid and child and infant CPR.
• Experience with special needs children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a healthy and safe environment for children.
• Provide attention to children's needs, including engaging and fun activities.
• Care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressing.
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals.
• Encourage healthy habits and hygiene, and help with toilet training.
• Perform light housework, like laundry, dishes, and tidying up toys.
• Help with homework as needed.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shift.

SYNERGY HomeCare is currently accepting applications from responsible, outgoing individuals for flexible in-home childcare opportunities. On-call childcare assignments may be last-minute, date nights, weekend coverage, or periodic care dates. These are short-term placements (typically 4-6 hours each) and require individuals who enjoy working with a variety of families and children.

As an On-Call Babysitter with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:
