Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Lee-Pontotoc County is seeking caring, dependable on-call babysitters to provide in-home childcare. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, nurturing environment, feeding and diapering, and supporting learning activities for children of all ages.

Assignments may include last-minute care, date nights, weekends, or occasional care lasting 4–6 hours. Preferred qualifications include babysitting or related childcare experience, and certification in first aid and child/infant

Qualifications

• Experience as a babysitter, nanny, teacher, daycare worker, or camp counselor.
• Certification in first aid and child and infant CPR
• Experience with special needs children

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
• Care for infants and children of all ages, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and supervising activities.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks.
• Encourage good hygiene and assist with age-appropriate routines, including toilet training.
• Perform light household tasks related to childcare, such as washing dishes, children's laundry, and tidying play areas.
• Assist with homework and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Arrive on time and provide dependable, high-quality care for every assignment.
