Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers, delivering compassionate in-home support to children and families in Teaneck, NJ. You will help with daily activities, meals, hygiene, safety, and light housekeeping, while building trusting relationships with clients.

The role offers consistent hours, on-site client visits, and opportunities for growth through paid orientation and ongoing training; you will be part of a supportive team that values reliability,

Qualifications

• Must have caregiving experience with children or in similar roles.
• Certification in first aid and CPR for child and infant.
• Experience caring for children, including infants, and those with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a healthy and safe environment for clients.
• Provide care for children, engaging and fun activities.
• Care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressing.
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals.
• Encourage healthy habits and hygiene; assist with toilet training.
• Perform light housework such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up toys.
• Help with homework as needed.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and covering shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Driver
• Hours Available: 7am-5pm Monday to Friday
• Experience as a babysitter, nanny, teacher, daycare worker, or camp counselor
• Certification in first aid and child and infant CPR
• Experience with special needs children
