Job summary

MRV Banks in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Fintech Compliance Assurance Analyst to help ensure fintech programs operate as intended. The role focuses on compliance reviews, testing, trend analysis, and partner communication, with weekly, monthly, and quarterly duties.

You will identify findings, collaborate with fintech partners, and support remediation efforts while maintaining audit-ready documentation. A detail-oriented, analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in banking, compliance, audit, risk, financial services, payments, or fintech preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to identify patterns and dig deeper when something doesn’t look right.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with fintech partners.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Growth mindset and willingness to continuously develop your fintech knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance reviews of fintech programs.
• Document and communicate audit findings and observations directly with fintech partners, including follow-up and remediation tracking.
• Assist with monthly relationship reporting, including compliance trends, analysis, findings, and regulatory complaint activity.
• Support the research, review, documentation, and resolution of regulatory complaints as needed.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and partner compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, IT, and MRV Connect teams to identify concerns, strengthen processes, and support effective compliance oversight.
