Job summary

LifeStream is seeking a BA/BS Counselor to provide comprehensive counseling services within HIV Early Intervention Services. You will assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mental and physical health.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain confidential records, offer crisis intervention, and stay current with best practices in counseling to support clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling or mental health setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in counseling techniques and electronic health records.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Purpose:- LifeStream's HIV Early Intervention Services provide early detection, education, referrals to additional services across our continuum of care, infection prevention skills, improvement of quality of life, and improvement of mental and physical health. The BA/BS Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health and well-being.
