Job summary

LifeStream is seeking a BA/BS Counselor to provide comprehensive counseling services within HIV Early Intervention Services. You will assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mental and physical health.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain confidential records, offer crisis intervention, and stay current with best practices in counseling to support clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling or mental health setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in counseling techniques and electronic health records.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to best practices.
