Job summary

My Valuable Business LLC is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to partner with our Marketing Director on content for the firm and a few clients. This is an ongoing part-time, 1099 contract for a seasoned pro who can translate strategy into polished, on-brand posts.

You will manage calendars, draft copy, produce graphics and short-form video, and track results across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. B2B experience, strong writing, and US-based work are required.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience managing social media for businesses or agencies.
• B2B social media experience strongly preferred, particularly in professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to write engaging, brand-appropriate copy and produce graphics and short-form video (reels).
• Hands-on experience with Hootsuite and Meta Business Suite.
• Must be based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the Marketing Director bi-weekly to review content needs for the upcoming two weeks.
• Collaborate on monthly content calendars built around key initiatives and thought leadership content, aligned with MVB's existing marketing strategy.
• Draft post copy, create branded graphics and reels, and schedule 4-5 posts per week across MVB's Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts, as well as the CEO's LinkedIn
• Draft, schedule, and publish client social media content on an as-needed basis (typically 5-10 posts per month across two clients) on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and client executive LinkedIn accounts
• Prepare weekly social media metrics reports using MVB's reporting template
• Adapt content to each brand's established fonts, colors, tone, and voice
