Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a New Business Sales Representative to prospect and generate new commercial accounts. The role requires cold calling and meeting decision makers to close contracts, with daily CRM use and reporting.

You will identify customer needs, deliver tailored proposals, and travel as needed to secure opportunities. A strong track record in B2B sales and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years outside business-to-business sales experience preferred.
• Must possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Proven analytical/problem-solving abilities for customer and company.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify leads, manages prospects and acquires new business.
• Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs.
• Conduct cold call and prospecting activities to schedule first and follow-up appointments.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations to key decision makers to close the sale.
• Propose customer solutions compliant with local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintain positive customer relationships for first-year accounts and growth.
