Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting collaborates with a growing global organization to identify a B2B Integration Engineer for the Chicago western suburbs. You will develop, support, and maintain integrations with customers, carriers, vendors, and partners using EDI, APIs, and file-based exchanges.

The role requires strong integration skills and the ability to understand business processes behind the data, with a track record of collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EDI or B2B integration experience.
• Experience with ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT.
• Experience with data mapping and transformation.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with XML, JSON, CSV, or flat-file processing.
• Working SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with secure file transfer (SFTP/AS2).
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and maintain B2B integrations with customers and partners.
• Create and maintain EDI mappings.
• Work with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and flat-file formats.
• Develop and support REST APIs and web-service integrations.
• Configure and support SFTP, AS2, and other secure file-transfer processes.
• Analyze customer specifications and translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams across regions.
• Conduct end-to-end testing before production deployment.
• Monitor production integrations and troubleshoot issues.
