Akaasa Technologies seeks an experienced EDI Consultant to support its EDI operations, map data, troubleshoot transactions, and reduce workload on the internal team. Strong EDI mapping skills and knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT are required. IBM Sterling B2B Integrator experience is highly preferred.

The role is based in Chicago, IL with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite; the first 5 weeks onsite daily). Contract is a 6-month SOW with strong extension potential up to 2 years.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with EDI mapping and data transformation.
• Knowledge of EDI standards and formats, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Experience troubleshooting EDI transactions, routing issues, and data integration errors.

• Recent or recent second project must be at the current location

Position Overview

Client is seeking an experienced EDI Consultant to support its Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations and reduce the workload of the existing internal team. The ideal candidate will have strong EDI mapping skills, experience troubleshooting transaction and routing issues, and a customer-focused approach to resolving technical problems. Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator is highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with EDI mapping and data transformation.
• Knowledge of EDI standards and formats, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
• Experience troubleshooting EDI transactions, routing issues, and data integration errors.
• Strong customer service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external trading partners.

Qualifications:

• Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or Sterling Integrator.
• Familiarity with EDI B2B Integrator or CBERGER.
• Experience with IBM VAN, trading partner integrations, and EDI production support.
