W.D.Larson Companies Ltd. is seeking a Credit & Collections Representative in Saint Louis Park, MN to work with the sales team on timely account set ups and order releases.

The role gathers credit information, checks references, and manages past-due collections across multiple systems. The ideal candidate has a 2-year accounting or related degree and 3+ years of B2B collections experience, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-year accounting or related degree.
• 3+ years’ experience in the business-to-business collections arena.
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and take personal initiative.
• Excellent problem solving, verbal, written communication and people skills are required.
• Must have the ability to prioritize workload while ensuring all tasks are completed.
• Must have interpersonal skills to interface with both internal and external customers.
• Intermediate Excel and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers credit information for establishing accounts and releases orders as needed.
• Calls on past-due accounts, notes activity, and provides requested documentation on past due invoices.
• Collects or reconciles disputes and discrepancies; maintains relationships with accounts payable across assigned accounts.
• Performs A/R processing of electronic payments (checks/credit cards) and maintains accounts in multiple systems.
• Works on special projects as assigned by the Credit Manager.
