Job summary

American Leather Operations LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collector in Dallas, TX to manage customer accounts, drive timely collections, and protect cash flow. You will work with internal teams to resolve payment issues and maintain accurate aging data.

The ideal candidate balances strong customer relationships with disciplined collection practices, prioritizing high-dollar and high-risk accounts while meeting KPIs and month-end targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, credit, or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and monitor aging and past-due balances.
• Contact customers by email and phone to obtain payment status and commitments.
• Follow up on overdue balances and document collection activity.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the A/R Manager when appropriate.
• Assist in achieving departmental KPIs related to past-due A/R and cash flow.
• Collaborate with Cash Applications, Billing, and Sales/Brand teams to resolve discrepancies.
