Brown-Daub Hyundai is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose and repair systems to dealership standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing engine, transmission, electrical, steering/suspension, braking, and climate control issues with minimal supervision.

Teammate with ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications. Valid driver s license and clean driving record.

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer\'s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
An "+entry level" technician: Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire and battery replacement, etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex mechanical aptitude with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions or after being taught the proper techniques first.
