Job summary

Hyundai Motor America seeks a bumper to bumper, master certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision. In most cases, you will be a shop leader and support the development of others, and may interface with customers as needed.

Education includes High School; Experience is 1–3 years; PA Inspection/Emission licenses are required. Hyundai Training Equivalency is available for experienced technicians from other OEMs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• PA Inspection/Emission licenses required.
• Mechanically adept with troubleshooting and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with coachable mindset.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Hyundai/Kia experience preferred, but not required.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry‑recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor‑led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
