Job summary

The role requires scheduling, attendance tracking, time-off approvals, and seamless coordination with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years related work experience with at least 1 year in a leading role
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control
• Familiar with computers and Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Leads a production team to meet goals and ensure safety, teamwork, and product quality
• Schedules, tracks attendance, and approves time off for reports
• Directs and supervises employees to maintain discipline, teamwork, and safety
• Manages inventory records and requisitions ingredients and supplies
• Interprets production reports to meet throughput and quality targets
• Promotes LEAN culture and continuous improvement in production operations
• Collaborates with HR for hiring and performance actions
• Maintains compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA and Simmons policies and regulations
