Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience
• Ford certification preferred as baseline

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read repair specs

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair orders in line with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC)
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs
• Communicate findings and time estimates to Service Advisor for approvals
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements

Roberts Motors is looking for a B-Level Service Technician to join its service department. This role covers the core diagnostic and repair work that keeps the shop running; engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and AC, with a 2+ year background and Ford certification as the baseline. What You'll Do

• Perform all repair work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
• Communicate findings and additional service needs directly to the Service Advisor, with accurate time estimates for any additional repairs needed
• Execute warranty repairs in full compliance with manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements

What We're Looking For

• Ford certification preferred
• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred
• B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity required for precision repair work
• Basic computer competency and ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
