Promotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Raleigh, NC, for a production-focused role. This flat-rate opportunity offers a generous earning potential of $75,000–$105,000+ with a guaranteed minimum and approximately $35/hour guaranteed.

The shop handles a high-throughput environment, performing mechanical repairs, brake work, suspension, tires, and routine maintenance. Candidates with ASE A1–A8 and NC State Inspection credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong hands-on mechanical repair background.
• Ability to perform production-focused work efficiently and consistently.
• ASE A1–A8 certifications are a plus.
• North Carolina State Inspection License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and parts replacement.
• Service braking systems and suspensions; wheel alignments.
• Tire and wheel services; fluid services and general maintenance.
• Inspect and replace hoses and belts; complete assigned work accurately.

The shop handles approximately 70–94 vehicles each week and focuses on efficient mechanical repairs and parts replacement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and parts replacement


• Service braking systems


• Complete suspension repairs and wheel alignments


• Perform tire and wheel services


• Complete fluid services and general maintenance


• Inspect and replace hoses and belts


• Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently

Qualifications
