Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols.
• Pass Austal USA TIG weld test procedures in 6G position.
• Pass Austal USA TIG weld test procedure for aluminum pipe.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of pipe fitters and welders to meet daily production goals.
• Follow Austal welding standards and housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure work area is clean and safe.
