The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor to establish an independent and collaborative research program focused on basic B cell immunology and B cell–mediated prevention and control of infectious diseases.

Candidates with PhD, MD, or MD/PhD are welcome, preferably with a lab-based program; primary appointment will be in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division (VIDD).

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with a track record in B cell immunology related to infectious diseases.
• Ability to establish independent and collaborative research program; lab-based research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish an independent, collaborative research program in B cell immunology focusing on infectious diseases.
• Contribute to translational human immunology research and potential clinical trials related to HIV, TB, and respiratory viruses.
