Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor to build an independent B cell immunology program focused on prevention and control of infectious diseases. Applicants should have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD, with a lab-based or hybrid computational focus welcome.

Primary appointment in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division (VIDD). VIDD conducts translational human immunology research, including HIV, TB, respiratory viruses, and herpes viruses.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD (MD/PhD welcomed) required.
• Demonstrated track record in mechanistic B cell immunology research.
• Ability to conduct innovative research with translational potential.

Responsibilities

• Establish an independent, collaborative research program in B cell immunology.
• Lead and manage a lab focused on prevention and control of infectious diseases.
• Contribute to HIV, TB, and respiratory virus research within VID D, with on-site research.
