Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to join the Immunotherapy (IMTX) and Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Programs on a full-time clinical faculty pathway. The role emphasizes an 80:20 split between clinical service and academic pursuits, reporting through Fred Hutch and UW divisions in Seattle.

The incumbent will contribute to outstanding clinical care, and lead/participate in trials focusing on transplantation and cellular immunotherapy,

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Medical Oncology, Hematology, or Hematology/Oncology (or foreign equivalent)
• ABIM board certification and maintenance of certification in Medical Oncology, Hematology, or both, as applicable to the candidate's training (or foreign equivalent)
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical care with emphasis on hematopoietic cell transplantation and/or cellular immunotherapy.
• Engage in translational and clinical research within the Fred Hutch Clinical Research Division and UW Hematology/Oncology.
• Provide teaching and supervision for trainees in outpatient and inpatient settings.
