Job Description

1. Guest Service: Deliver excellent service the Boyd Way by being friendly, approachable, polite, and courteous. Seek opportunities to assist guests and team members, and respond to their needs and questions sincerely and knowledgeably.
2. Knowledge of Property: Familiarize with all of Belterra Park’s outlets and functions, and be able to answer general questions about the property.
3. Guest Interaction: Anticipate guest needs, greet guests courteously, and inform them of specials, promotions, and events.
4. Beverage Service: Take beverage orders from staff or guests, serve drinks efficiently, and prepare cocktails according to recipes and guest requests. Measure drinks accurately and verify guest age for alcohol purchases.
5. Payment and Cleanliness: Process payments via POS system promptly, maintain cleanliness of the bar and work areas, and restock supplies as needed.
6. Sales and Assistance: Assist guests with beverage choices, demonstrate product knowledge, and deliver orders promptly. Provide amenities like napkins and ashtrays.
7. Responsible Service: Limit excessive drinking and adhere to responsible alcohol service standards, including compliance with regulations.
8. Maintenance and Compliance: Clean and organize bar area, follow health and safety regulations, and participate in uniforms and event preparations.
9. Training and Appearance: Attend training, maintain a professional appearance, and perform all duties with attention to detail, sanitation, and safety.
10. Additional Duties: Complete assigned tasks, pass necessary tests, and adhere to SOPs and management instructions.

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification.
