Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our IT infrastructure, including server systems, virtualization, Azure services, and Microsoft 365 tooling.

You will automate tasks with PowerShell, implement IaC with Terraform, and collaborate with IT and architecture teams in an Agile environment to keep systems secure, reliable, and scalable across our operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role required.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and ability to automate tasks.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with Terraform and IaC, plus DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in IT infrastructure projects including design, deployment, and maintenance of server systems, cloud services, and virtualization platforms.
• Oversees deployment of IT infrastructure components (Windows, Linux, virtualized environments) and applies updates for security and performance.
• Collaborates with architecture teams to design scalable, secure IT infrastructure aligned with standards.
• Develops backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Scripts in PowerShell for automation and supports infrastructure automation with IaC (Terraform).
• Monitors infrastructure using Datadog/Site24x7 and participates in Agile sprint activities.
• Maintains documentation and reports on system performance, capacity, and security metrics.
