Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Azure Site Reliability Engineer to boost reliability, availability, and performance of Azure-hosted enterprise apps. The role blends software engineering, cloud infra, IaC, and DevOps to build resilient cloud-native solutions while cutting toil through automation.

You will collaborate with development, cloud engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to drive improvements, define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, implement AKS, Terraform, CI/CD, and lead incident response

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technology with 5–7 years in software/tech roles.
Experience supporting large-scale cloud platforms and distributed apps.
Strong knowledge of SRE principles and incident management.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and optimize performance, availability, and reliability on Azure-hosted platforms.
Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
Drive improvements via metrics, reliability practices, and platform modernization.
Collaborate with development teams on testing, release validation, deployment automation, and production readiness.
Design, build, and support AKS, networking, App Services, and Storage.
Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and Azure-native tools.
Lead incident response, RCA, and post-incident reviews; automate remediation to reduce toil.
Maintain runbooks and knowledge articles; participate in on-call rotations.
